Sunflower Yoga Studio offers a variety of classes from gentle beginner Yoga to advanced sessions with Yoga Therapist and Master Reiki instructor Jane Gallagher.
Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction and modifications. You will learn strategies to effectively manage your own personal health and well being.
Class sizes are limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants.
If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up within the series. Please confirm your spot at least 3 hours prior to class.
Options for pricing: You can join the set at anytime - class prices will be prorated. All prices include GST 1.Register for one set of classes $85.00 Unimited classes within the set $145.00 If you would rather drop into classes, you can purchase a 5 punch pass for $70.00 All of the yoga classes will be offered on Zoom as well as **in studio. Please reserve your spot before the class. For in studio participation there will be a complete cleaning between classes. Please bring your own mat and props.

All Levels Monday March April 11 - May 30 (no class May 23) You are not your condition! This class is designed for anyone wanting to experience the gentle side of yoga. We will be exploring breath, body awareness, strength, and flexibility using the Pain Care yoga principles. |
All Levels Monday April 11 - May 30 (no class May 23) This self-awareness style yoga class will offer an exploration into the essence of Hatha Yoga through a therapeutic focus. We will move through traditional Hatha postures, using the breath as our guide. During the class, we will explore the conscious release of muscular tension; addressing patterns of pain and stress. We will build flexibility, and strength while finding a sense of ease. |
All Levels Tuesday April 12 - May 31 (no class May 3) This interactive online class will be focused on Self Compassion. Together we will explore a variety of self compassion meditations and techniques. Self Compassion is an important practice at all times, but it is even more important in the current climate. Although we will not physically be in the same place while we practice, we will still have the same sense of community. |
All Levels Wednesday April 13 - Jun 01 (no class May 4) 4:00 - 5:15pm This Yoga class will focus on breath and movements to bring mobility, flexibility and strength to hips and shoulders. |
Wednesday April 13 - Jun 01 (no class May 4) The first 45 minutes of this class will be a pilates inspired movement class. We will work on core strength.

All Levels Thursday April 14 - Jun 02 (no class May 5) This accessible class has the option of participating from a chair. We will explore strengthening movements to enhance balance. There will be a variety of balance exercises and techniques presented to keep us centered and stable. Somatics will also be included to help us increase body awarness. |
All Levels Thursday April 14 - Jun 02 (no class May 5) Yoga Nidra is a practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation. I have heard that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can be as restorative as a 3 hour sleep. I will be guiding you through the online platform. You will rest in a prone position, supported and comfortable so that you can deeply relax.

All Levels Thursday April 14 - Jun 02 (no class May 5) During this meditation set we will explore the concepts presented in a variety of self development Podcasts. Each week we will listen to and discuss an assigned podcast. (They are between 10 - 20minutes in length) |
All Levels Saturday April 16 - Jun 11 (no class May 7 and 15) During this class we will use a combination of yoga poses and somatic movement to build back and core strength. |

If a group class setting does not work into your schedule, private sessions are available. During your private session breath, movement, and awareness will be incorporated into a program designed specifically for you. Learn More
